March 29, 2008 – Senator Rhoades and his wife Mary Edith participate in
Girardville’s 5th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

March 19, 2008 – Senator Rhoades presents a check for $404,000 to East
Norwegian Township that will be used for significant safety improvements at
the intersection of Tunnel Road and Route 61. Taking part in the
presentation are: Ken McCarthy, Chairman, East Norwegian Board of
Supervisors, Senator Rhoades, Jack Ketner, East Norwegian Board of
Supervisors and Tom Yashinsky, East Norwegian Township Engineer.

March 7, 2008 – Senator
Rhoades and Bishop Thomas Welsh, Retired Bishop of Allentown, share a laugh
with the third grade class at Trinity Academy, Shenandoah, on Community
Leader Day. |

January 23, 2008 – Senator Rhoades presents a $456,000 grant to
representatives of the Northern Schuylkill Council of Governments that will
be used to purchase various pieces of heavy equipment that will be shared
among the 15 member municipalities. |

January 17, 2008 - Senator Rhoades presents a check for
$600,000 to Wayne Stump, Executive Director of the
Schuylkill YMCA that will be used for improvements to
their facilities in Pottsville and Tremont.

16, 2008 - Senator Rhoades presents two checks to
Mahanoy City Borough, one for a new telephone program
and the other for a demolition program. Taking part are:

legislation this week that would close a costly tax
loophole for homeowners by limiting the authority of
